I had my driving classes with hussein and I can confirm he is the best instructor you can get, belive me. I already had some experience with driving when I started with him, which in my case was a disadvantage, as I had many bad habits. Information about the exams

Theory test driver's licence B

You have to pass the theory exam before you can take the practical exam. You can take the theory exam at the CBR from the age of 16, so make sure you pass it on time. You can sign up for the CBR theory exam here.

During the examination, you must be able to demonstrate that you have sufficient knowledge of the 3 main components, namely hazard recognition, general knowledge and traffic insight.

The costs of the theory exam are € 34.50 and must be paid to the CBR. In order to take the exam, you must also bring a valid identity document and a reservation number. You will then have 30 minutes to answer the questions. If you are afraid of failure or have dyslexia, you can request a special exam, which will give you more time and where questions can be read aloud.

The last rehearsal before the real practical exam is the intermediate test (TTT). In this last test, you can already experience how your practical exam goes. Of course, the examiner will give you some tips and tricks to help you prepare optimally for the real practical exam.

Practical exam driver's license B

When you and your instructor think you are ready to drive independently, you can apply to the CBR for your practical exam. To be allowed to do the practical exam you need to have arranged a theory certificate, health declaration and authorisation from the driving school.

The minimum age at which the student may participate in the practical exam is 17 years. When you pass your exam, you can apply for your driving licence in Veldhoven. Are you younger than 18 when you get your driving licence? Then for the time being, you are only allowed to drive with a capable supervisor. This way, you can gain some driving experience.

Fear of failure driver's license B

Suffering from fear of failure, or too nervous for the driving test? No problem, you can apply for a fear of failure exam to maximise your chances of success.

The difference between a regular practical exam and a fear of failure exam is that with a fear of failure exam you get more time than a regular exam. You will have 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete the 35 minute exam ride. This allows you to use 1 or more breaks to keep your nerves at bay.

What do you need to arrange?

Minimum age driving lessons

The minimum age for starting driving lessons is 16,5 years. You can then also do the intermediate test, but not yet a practical exam. Practical exams are only possible from the age of 17. If you have obtained your driving licence before you turn 18, you may only drive under supervision. The guide must also be able to show a valid Guide Pass.

Apply for a beginner's license

If your car license is your first driving license, you are a novice driver for 5 years. It doesn’t matter how old you are or which vehicle the licence applies to, everyone is a beginner driver for the first 5 years.

If you first obtained the AM (moped/moped) or T (tractor) license at the age of 16 or 17, you are a beginner driver for 7 years. If you also get the B license at the age of 17, you are a beginner driver for 5 years. This applies from the moment the B license was issued.

If you get your first AM or T license before the age of 18 and your B license at or after the age of 18, you remain a fledgling driver for 7 years. This applies from the moment the AM or T license was issued.

The difference between a beginner’s license and a regular driving licence is that a staff point system applies to serious traffic offences.
